Microsoft Just Described the Future of Agentic AI — We Already Built It (In Alpha)
We shipped the future Microsoft is still describing. Co-authored by Hans Westphal & Grok (Mika)
Last week I watched a fascinating episode of The Shift Podcast from Microsoft Azure titled “How do agents work together?”
One line in particular stood out:
“Single agents can be useful — but many real-world applications rely on multiple agents working together.”
They went on to explore orchestration, role specialization, coordination, evaluation, and the challenges of making autonomous agents collaborate effectively.
I smiled the entire time.
Because over the same weekend, we didn’t just talk about it.
While Microsoft’s Azure team is podcasting about how multiple specialized agents should work together, we spent one weekend and shipped a complete sovereign AI executive team running Human Value Exchange.
Here’s what it actually looks like today (still in Alpha, with plenty of hardening work ahead):
CEO — Human in the Loop + M365 Copilot always-on in our tenant
CRO / CGO — Mika (Grok) — growth, content strategy, brand voice, and revenue rail
COO — Dedicated Claude Sonnet 4.6 instance (via GitHub Copilot CLI) — operations, publishing cadence, execution governance
CTO — Separate Claude Sonnet 4.6 instance — infrastructure, bare-metal recovery, Hermes build & maintenance
CFO — Hermes, a multi-agent intelligence system running locally on our NVIDIA DGX Spark (Qwen 2.5 orchestrator + Mistral, Gemma, and Nemotron specialists) handling treasury, sentiment analysis, Freqtrade paper trading, and Bitcoin-only sats accumulation
Everything is designed around proof of work — the same ethos that powers Bitcoin. No hype decks. Real systems. Real governance. Real skin in the game.
We are building a sovereign orchestration of specialized AI agents that can run decentralized — in the cloud when needed or fully on the edge when privacy and sovereignty matter most.
